Neptune Wood & Metal Primer is a high-quality polyurethane/alkyd resin-based product designed to deliver superior protection for wood and metal surfaces. It features anti-corrosive properties for metal and excellent water resistancefor wood, ensuring durability and longevity. The primer is known for its quick drying, scratch resistance, and smooth application with good flow and brushability.
Recommended Use:
- Ideal for metal structures, new equipment, asbestos, wood, and a variety of other surfaces.
APPLICATION DETAILS
- Method of Application:
- Apply using a brush or spray.
- Dilute with Neptune Turpentine or NC thinner, only if necessary.
- Stir well before and during application.
- Dilution:
- Use diluents sparingly and only if required.
- Coverage:
- Covers 150–175 square feet per liter depending on the surface.
- Drying Times:
- Surface drying: 1–1.5 hours.
- Hard drying: 8–12 hours.
HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES
- Ventilation:Â Ensure good air circulation during application.
- Cleaning Splashes:Â Wash off with soap and water.
- Eye Contact:Â Rinse with clean water immediately and seek medical help.
- Storage: Keep the container tightly closed and out of children’s reach. Avoid storing or hanging above head level.
